Dr. Ashley was born and raised in the Evansville area. He is a 1991 graduate of Indiana University and a 1995 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry. He continually pursues clinical and academic excellence by attending numerous continuing education courses and programs on an annual basis. Additionally, he is committed to a high level of staff training and has taken the entire team to various courses around the country in an effort to place a priority of ongoing learning.

He has been married to his wife, Lucy, since 1995. Together they have a son, Drew, who graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry and is practicing with his Dad at FSD, and a daughter Claire, who graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in May 2024. In his free time, he loves to golf. In addition, he loves to follow Indiana Hoosier basketball, Los Angeles Dodgers baseball, and Pittsburgh Steeler football.

Dr. Welborn grew up in Harrisburg, IL where he attended high school. He graduated from Duke University in 2011 and Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2018. He remains committed to learning and continuing education courses that allow us to better serve our patients. He considers staff training very important and commits our entire team to regular training to increase our proficiency and knowledge.

He and his wife, Reilly, have been married since 2013. They have two daughters, Aria, born in 2015, and Isla born in 2019. He enjoys Duke basketball and spending time with his family. He and his family are also active members of The Hills Church in Evansville.

Dr Lottes was born and raised on the west side of Evansville. He attended Reitz High School and Indiana University Bloomington. He is a 2021 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry. He is committed to providing quality patient care, expanding on academic knowledge and being an expert clinician. Dr. Lottes truly values the relationship that is built with his patients, team members, and colleagues. He seeks to make every dental visit enjoyable.

Dr. Lottes' hobbies include Indiana Hoosiers basketball, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, golfing, being outdoors, traveling to new places, and spending time with his loved ones. Dr. Lottes is excited to be in Evansville practicing in the community he knows and loves.

Dr. Drew was born and raised in the Evansville area. He is a 2017 graduate of Memorial High School, a 2021 graduate of Indiana University, a 2021 Baseball Academic All- American at IU, and a 2025 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry. With deep roots in the history of Franklin Street Dentistry, Dr. Drew is dedicated to continuing the legacy of excellent patient care established by his dad. He is committed to staying current with advancements in his field with special interest in implant dentistry.

He is the son of Dr. Chad & Lucy Ashley. He partners with University of Evansville Athletics Department as team dentist and is a faculty member at the University of Southern Indiana Dental Hygiene School. In his free time, he loves to golf, workout, and play baseball.

Maria became a member of our Front Office team in 2020. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Southern Indiana. She has a passion for learning. Maria has taken courses in Medical Billing for Dentistry, Sleep Apnea, as well as many others to advance her knowledge of dentistry to better serve our patients. She is the Scheduling Coordinator for the doctors and works with patients to accommodate their needs.

Maria lives in Henderson with her son Davis. They are active members of their church and love serving others. In her free time, Maria likes to do CrossFit, run, hike, or anything else Davis’ imagination creates. She is an Indiana University, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Seattle Seahawks fan. Maria is an avid baker.

Caitlyn joined our team in 2020. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2014 with a degree in dental assisting. Caitlyn is an expanded duties dental assistant. She came to our office with several years of dental experience and brought with her extensive knowledge of bone grafts and implants. Caitlyn has taken on several extra roles with our office and is dedicated to always putting patient care first. She goes above and beyond when it comes to learning by staying current with the changing trends in the field.

Tamy has worked with our office since 1997. Tamy earned her dental hygiene degree in 1998 from the University of Southern Indiana, where she was also a cheerleader. Tamy’s compassion and positive attitude contribute to her goal of making the dental office visit a pleasant experience for all patients.

Tamy resides on Evansville’s West side with her husband, J.D. (married since 1999), and their three daughters: Amity, Avery, and Anika. In her spare time, she enjoys genealogy research and spending time with her family and friends. Tamy has a passion for fast cars!

Sloan has been a hygienist at our office since 2020. She graduated in 2017 from the University of Southern Indiana. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene with an Expanded Functions Dental Assisting certification, and a Local Anesthesia certification. Sloan loves to stay current on trends in the dental field by taking new continuing education courses every year to help her guide her patients to better oral health.

Sloan is a native of Henderson but currently resides in Newburgh with her family. She married her husband Gage in 2021, and they have a daughter Maebry and a son Tate. They also have two dogs, Rebel and Nelson. Sloan loves being a wife and mom. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, walking the dogs, and traveling to new places. Sloan has a passion for baking bread and make some of the best sour dough pretzels.

Kaci joined our hygiene team in 2022. She is a graduate from Western Kentucky University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2018. Kaci cares about each one of her patients and is dedicated to continually learning each year to help her stay current with the trends and guide her patients towards better oral health.

Kaci married her husband, Cody in 2018. They reside in Henderson with their son Rhett, born in 2021 and daughter Renly, born in 2025. In her free time, Kaci loves to cook and spend time with her family.

Terra joined our team of hygienists in 2023. She graduated in 2002 from John A Logan College and spent 20 years working in Illinois before moving to Evansville and joining our practice. Terra continues to take courses yearly to stay current with dental trends and help her better assist her patients with their oral health.

Terra is a native of Southern Illinois but currently resides on the west side of Evansville. She has two daughters, Lizzy and Emily. In her free time, Terra enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with her girls and family.

Kiersten joined our hygiene team in 2023. She is a 2023 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and a certification in local anesthesia. Kiersten’s sweet disposition and caring personality is immediately noticed by each of her patients. In an effort to better guide patients towards better oral health, Kiersten is excited to continue her learning by taking continuing education courses every year.

Kiersten lives in Boonville and grew up as a patient in our practice. She married her husband Josh in 2025. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and shopping.

McKenzie joined our team of hygienists in 2023. She is a 2023 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and a certification in local anesthesia. McKenzie brings a contagious energy to our office and to each of our patients by loving what she does. She is eager to continue learning about changes in dentistry to help each of her patients

McKenzie is originally from Newburgh but currently resides in Boonville. In 2023, she married her husband, Jonathan. McKenzie and Jonathan are proud parents to a son, Bennett. They have two dogs, Hank and Luna, as well as two cats, Jinks and Beans. Outside of work, McKenzie loves spending time doing crafty things, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

Sydney has been a hygienist in our office since her graduation in 2024. She attended University of Southern Indiana and obtained her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene and a Local Anesthesia certification. Sydney knew from a young age she wanted to be a Dental Hygienist, and her outgoing personality helps her connect with every patient. She is dedicated to always learning so she can continue educating her patients on their oral health.

Sydney is originally from Haubstadt but currently resides on the West Side of Evansville. In her spare time, she loves to work out, play pickle ball, and travel.

Jailyn has been a part of our hygiene team since graduating with honors in May 2025. She has a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of Southern Indiana and a local anesthesia certificate. Jailyn has a passion for helping others and uses that to guide patients toward better oral health. She is dedicated to staying current with changing trends in the dental field by taking courses to better her knowledge and skills.

Jailyn married her high school sweetheart Jayden in 2024, and they have purchased a home on the West Side of Evansville. In her spare time, she enjoys singing for her church and at weddings. She loves spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Tabitha joined our hygiene team in early 2025. She earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of Southern Indiana in 2014. Tabitha is dedicated to the oral health of her patients and takes pride in giving consistent care to everyone. She is passionate about dental hygiene and continues to pursue that passion yearly by staying up to date with the latest advances in her field.

Though she is originally from Maine, Tabitha now calls Oakland City her home. She lives there with her husband Lee. Together they are proud pet owners of cats, dogs, and a bearded dragon. In her free time, Tabitha is a VFW auxiliary member at Post 1114. She loves spending time with her husband and discovering new things.

Mikala joined our team of hygienists upon moving to Evansville in 2025. She graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry’s hygiene program in 2022. She earned a double bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and dental hygiene. Mikala’s favorite thing about being a hygienist is making her patients feel comfortable and welcome in the dental office. She likes to alleviate dental fears. While obtaining her degrees, she also played golf for the IUPUI Jaguars. Mikala is dedicated to constantly learning and staying up to date with trends in the dental field so she can guide her patients towards better oral health.

Mikala is originally from Syracuse Indiana, but recently moved to Evansville. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, golfing, and playing with her puppy Martini.

Connor joined our team in 2020. She graduated from Washington Catholic High School and went on to further her education in the Vincennes University Jasper Dental Assisting Program, where she completed the course with a 4.0 GPA, while gaining clinical experience. Connor stays up to date on OSHA training, CPR certification, and maintains her Radiography License. She is dedicated to continually advancing her knowledge by taking advanced courses in dentistry.

Connor and her husband Kaden married in 2023. She loves spending time outdoors, with others reading poetry and listening to classic music like the BeeGees. Connor can't wait to assist you with all your dental needs and make your experience at Franklin Street Dentistry wonderful!

LaHanah joined our assisting team in 2023. She graduated with honors from the Dental Assisting Program in Cincinnati in 2015. LaHanah loves to continue learning about dentistry and other things. She is currently working on her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification.

LaHanah moved here with her husband and daughter from Denver. They consider themselves West Siders now. LaHanah loves to serve her community. When not in the office, you will find her with her family, either in the kitchen or outside!.

Noelle officially joined our assisting team the week following her graduation from University of Southern Indiana’s Dental Assisting Program in May of 2024. During her last year of school, she was in our office weekly for her clinical rotations. In addition to her associate’s degree in dental assisting, Noelle has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Services from USI. Noelle is an expanded duties dental assistant and continues to further her education and dental skills. She has recently taken an interest in learning more about implant dentistry.

She is a native of Indianapolis and moved to Evansville to pursue her education. When she is not in the office, Noelle enjoys playing sports, going to concerts, and hanging out with friends.

Sadie joined our dental assisting team in 2024. She graduated in 2024 from the University of Southern Indiana Dental Assisting Program. In 2025 she obtained her bachelor’s degree in health services from the University of Southern Indiana. Sadie’s calm demeanor helps put patients at ease. She is eager to continue to further her education and dental skills.

Sadie lives in Evansville. She and her fiancé Marshall are planning a wedding for 2026. She is a proud “pet mom” to her wiener dog, Duck, and her hedgehog, Goose.

Bizzy became a member of our Front Office in 2021. She has a dental background along with extensive customer service experience. Bizzy is our Hygiene Coordinator and works to keep our patients up to date with their cleaning appointments.

Bizzy spends her free time on nature walks, bike rides, and going to concerts. She has a daughter, Rockelle, who is the light of her life.

Claire has worked for our front office team since 2016. She graduated from Indiana University in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and policy. She is currently pursuing a degree in Practical Nursing in hopes to partner in a Medical Esthetics Practice. Claire is dedicated to continually learning and providing exceptional care for all patients.

She is the daughter of Dr. Chad & Lucy Ashley. In her free time, Claire likes to travel with her family, read books, do Pilates, go shopping, and spend time on the golf course with her boyfriend, Eric.

Virginia started with our Front Office team in 2024. She is a 2020 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in Dental Assisting. She spent two years as a dental assistant prior to deciding to use her customer service and dental assisting knowledge in a front office role. Most days you will see Virginia at our check-in window where her goal is to provide kind & genuine care for all patients as they enter our office.

Virginia lives in Evansville with her husband and son. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends. Virginia, her husband, and son enjoy trying new ice cream shops and going to community festivals (especially those on Haynie’s Corner).

Jess joined our office in 2025. She splits her time between our dental assisting and front office teams. Jess graduated in 2015 from the University of Southern Indiana Dental Assisting Program. With a background in small business ownership, she is excited to bring her experience to the dental office. Jess is eager to continue to learn about current trends in dentistry so she can better serve our patients.

Jess lives in Haubstadt. She is the proud mom of twins, Jack and Elli. In her free time, Jess loves to travel, especially to Knoxville, Tennessee. She is a big Tennessee Volunteers fan.

Kyla joined our front office team in 2025. Her background is in customer service and hospitality. She spent a combined 20 years managing banquets and special events for Biaggi’s and Rolling Hills Country Club. Kyla is dedicated to expanding her knowledge of dentistry and providing excellent care for every patient.

Kyla and her husband J live on the east side of Evansville with their two children: Adaline and Watson. In her spare time Kyla loves spending time with her family and attending sporting events with her husband.
